Newcastle may agree to sell Gordon to Arsenal

Newcastle have so far managed to keep hold of Anthony Gordon despite interest from top clubs. However, there are factors that could prompt the Magpies to say goodbye to their star player.
Details: According to former Manchester United chief scout Mick Brown, a hefty offer for Gordon could persuade Newcastle to accept a bid from London side Arsenal, as the club currently needs funds.
Quote: "Arsenal want to strengthen their squad. We talked about Martinelli, and if he leaves, they want to bring in someone even better, and there are several names on their radar. One of the players they've shown interest in is Gordon. They're keeping an eye on him, monitoring his situation in case he becomes available.
Newcastle have some uncertainty regarding their financial situation. If a big offer comes in, Newcastle may have to accept it.
Then Arsenal will have to decide whether the fee required for him is worth what he can bring to the team, and whether he is the right fit. But he's still young, and there's a reason they've been tracking him for a long time," Brown told Football Insider in an interview.
Recall: Earlier, Newcastle head coach Eddie Howe outlined the condition under which he is prepared to sell Alexander Isak.
