Napoli wants to publicly demonstrate support for Juan Jesus, who allegedly fell victim to racial humiliation from Inter's defender Federico Acerbi.

According to Radio Kiss Kiss Napoli, the Brazilian defender may receive the captain's armband for the next Serie A match against Atalanta. At the moment, this remains a subject for discussion, and if such a decision is made, it will require the approval of the team and, most importantly, Napoli's regular captain Giovanni Di Lorenzo.

Earlier reports indicated that Napoli disagreed with the Italian Football Federation's decision to acquit Inter's defender regarding accusations of racism against Jesus. The club even decided to stop wearing the "No to Racism" patch on their shirts after the decision was made.

Recall that during the Inter vs. Napoli match, there was a confrontation between Acerbi and Jesus on the football field. The Brazilian approached the referee and said that the Nerazzurri defender called him a racial slur. Acerbi denied all accusations against him and was eventually found not guilty.

Napoli will play against Atalanta on Saturday, March 30th. The teams are neighbors in the league table, with Atalanta in sixth place and the reigning Italian champions in seventh, trailing by two points.
