In January, Liverpool's head coach, Jürgen Klopp, made a shocking announcement, declaring his decision to depart from the club at the end of the current season. Nine years of stewardship under the German coach have come to an end, sparking numerous discussions about who else might leave the team.

Naturally, talks revolved around Egyptian forward, Mohammed Salah, who has long been sought after by teams in Saudi Arabia. Salah himself decided to put an end to these discussions during a conversation with Jamie Carragher on Sky Sports, responding to whether Klopp's departure would affect his future at Liverpool:

"No."

He then added:

"This is life. It's now part of life, everything's moving. Players have already left the club, very important players have left the club.

Someday, I will leave the club, but no [Klopp's departure won't affect my future]."

Last summer, Salah was the subject of interest from the Saudi club, Al-Ittihad. The Middle Eastern team offered a salary of £150 million per year, but he turned down this enticing offer, opting to remain with Liverpool.
