Mohamed Salah made his mark in what is expected to be his final Merseyside derby, scoring to draw level with Steven Gerrard for the most goals in the fixture’s history.
The Liverpool FC forward found the net in the first half of their clash against Everton FC at the Hill Dickinson Stadium, with his strike proving to be the difference in the game so far.
With that goal, both Salah and Gerrard now have nine goals each in the Merseyside derby.
