The VAR system, introduced a few years ago, continues to spark debate over its role in football. Legendary French footballer Michel Platini has weighed in on the matter.

Details: In an interview with Tuttomercatoweb, Platini stated that he would abolish VAR for foul decisions but retain it exclusively for offside calls.

Quote: "VAR? I'm against it; it doesn't do the right things. I would use it only for offsides. As for fouls, I would let the referees decide," Platini shared.
