FIFA announces date and location for the 2025 Club World Cup Draw
In the summer of 2025, the United States will host the Club World Cup, marking the first time the tournament will follow a classic 32-team format, divided into eight groups. FIFA has now revealed when the tournament draw will take place.
Details: According to FIFA's official website, the draw for the 2025 Club World Cup will be held on December 5 in Miami, which has also been chosen as the venue for the tournament final.
At this point, 31 teams have secured their place in the tournament. The 32nd team, set to join the competition in the U.S. next summer, will be determined by the outcome of the 2024 Copa Libertadores final between Brazilian clubs Atlético Mineiro and Botafogo.
The 2025 Club World Cup will feature the following teams:
