The situation has been further exacerbated by the recent scandal involving Mbappé, which emerged yesterday. Swedish police are investigating the Real Madrid striker for alleged sexual assault.
In light of this controversy, Real Madrid removed Mbappé from an Adidas promotional poster that was published yesterday.
Reminder: In his first eight La Liga matches, Mbappé has scored five goals, though three of them have come from penalties.
