Kylian Mbappé's career at Real Madrid has not had the smoothest start. However, the French star’s problems extend beyond football.
Details: Swedish police confirmed to local media that Mbappé is under investigation in a sexual assault case.
According to AFP, the incident occurred last Thursday, on the day of the UEFA Nations League match between France and Israel (4-1).
The footballer was staying at the Bank Hotel in Sweden. Mbappé dined at the Chez Jolie restaurant, then visited the V nightclub, and finally returned to the hotel in a black van accompanied by his entourage.
It is reported that the alleged incident involving Mbappé took place after he returned to the hotel. The player is under “reasonable suspicion,” which is the lowest level of suspicion in Sweden.
Reminder: Despite recovering from an injury, Mbappé was not included in the French squad for the Nations League matches. It was later revealed that the former PSG forward had decided to play for Les Bleus only in important games.
