FIFA has appointed Omar Al Ali as the referee to take charge of this Group G fixture on the second day of the World Cup currently being held in the United States, Canada and Mexico.

Egypt will play their second match at the World Cup on 22 June. The Pharaohs will take on New Zealand in Vancouver. But a few days ahead of the match, FIFA has named the officials who will oversee it.

The Emirati referee, Omar Al Ali, has been appointed as the match referee. His first assistant will be his compatriot Mohamed Alhammadi, whilst the Qatari Taleb Al Marri will act as the second assistant referee. Kevin Ortega and Michael Orue have been appointed as the fourth and fifth officials respectively.
