The head coach of the French national team, Didier Deschamps, spoke briefly about his star forward, Kylian Mbappé, following the World Cup quarterfinal match.

Many people think Kylian Mbappé is some sort of dictator, but as a captain he is a role model. He demonstrates this with all he does on the pitch, and especially with his goals.
In the first half, with that penalty save & the three chances, we lacked effectiveness, but that did not create any doubts in the minds of my players, and even less so in Kylian Mbappé.
In the semifinal, France will take on the winner of the Spain vs Belgium tie. The match is scheduled for July 14.
