Manqoba Mngqithi backs AmaZulu's Nkosikhona Radebe as the future Bafana Bafana right-back
Manqoba Mngqithi has heaped praise on AmaZulu's Nkosikhona Radebe as one player from Kwa-Zulu NAtal based teams to be in the Bafana Bafana squad.
Mngqithi said Radebe is a shining star currently in the Usuthu side and he is deserving of a place in Hugo Broos' Bafana side.
The former Mamelodi Sundowns coach sees Radebe as the perfect replacement for Bafana's preferred right-back Khuliso Mudau, who is slowly reaching his sell by date.
“And when you look at all these teams, and at AmaZulu, there’s also this boy Radebe, who in my opinion should be a cover in the national team. He has done very well. I think he’s got six assists and four goals for a full-back. That’s very big. Even today, he nearly punished us." he said.
“So, for me, those are suggestions that there’s a lot of positive things in KZN."
