Arthur Zwane impressed by KZN teams in the PSL this season saying they have been impressive
Arthur Zwane has commended Kwa-Zulu Natal teams for being one of the best teams this season in the Betway Premiership.
Zwane's Usuthu played to a goalless draw against Orbit College today with to remain on the fourth spot.
AmaZulu are looking for the third spot but Kaizer Chiefs seems to have sealed that spot though Usuthu, mathematically, can leapfrog them.
But Zwane has been pleased with how Golden Arrows, Richards Bay and Durban City have fared in South Africa's elite league this season.
“This year is a great season for KZN teams. For some reason, all the teams they raised their bar,” said Zwane.
“When a lot of people thought some teams are restructuring, they actually surprised a lot of people.
“And it tells you that the direction taken by the owners, the board of directors was good. Though these things don’t happen overnight, they take time.
“But I think it’s a step in the right direction. You can see some are enjoying the fruits of their decision even though they were gonna backfire at some stage.
“It’s a good season for KZN teams. We also really want to go to Africa more especially, with what these players have done this season, they have worked really hard – they deserve something, that’s my belief.”
