Manchester United is on the hunt for a midfielder, with Bayern Munich's Leon Goretzka among the potential candidates.
Details: According to Florian Plettenberg, the club is in the market for a box-to-box midfielder, or a “number eight,” and Goretzka has caught the attention of United's scouts.
However, the 29-year-old is reportedly not planning to leave Bayern during the winter transfer window.
Additionally, United are expected to pursue a forward, aiming to bolster their attack in either the winter or summer transfer windows.
Reminder: United recently appointed Ruben Amorim as their new head coach, with his contract set to commence on November 11. Until then, club legend Ruud van Nistelrooy is serving as the interim manager.
