Manchester United shows no interest in extending Maguire's contract

In recent seasons, Harry Maguire’s performance as a defender for Manchester United has been underwhelming, and the club's management appears to have made a decision about the 31-year-old center-back’s future.

Details: According to TBR Football, Manchester United is currently not interested in renewing Maguire's contract. However, Maguire hopes to make a stronger impression on the incoming coach Ruben Amorim, who favors a formation with three central defenders—a setup that worked well for Maguire under Gareth Southgate with the England national team, where he often performed at his best.

Reminder: Previously, it was reported that Amorim will have input on contract renewals for United’s players, although final decisions on player contracts will not rest solely with the new manager.
