Manchester United enter the race for the young Dutch star
Euro 2024 has unveiled numerous new talents and confirmed the incredible potential of other players.
One such player is Paris Saint-Germain and Netherlands midfielder Xavi Simons, who showcased outstanding performances in the continental championship, affirming his high level of play.
During the Euro, many clubs began to show interest in him. There were rumors that RB Leipzig wanted to sign him on a permanent basis, having had him on loan for a year. Bayern Munich also expressed interest and began negotiations with the Parisian club. It is believed that the Munich club has already agreed on all terms with the player.
However, according to Daily Mail, another top club has entered the race for the player: Manchester United. The Red Devils' head coach, Erik ten Hag, admires the Dutchman's game and remains hopeful of signing him.
While it seems unlikely that United has a strong chance of signing Simons, the Manchester club has already won a transfer battle for a highly sought-after player earlier this summer.
