The competition for young Dutch footballer Xavi Simons is ongoing among several clubs. Bayern Munich has now emerged as the favorite, according to L'ÉQUIPE.

In the past few hours, the Munich side has taken the lead in the race to loan the PSG player. Bayern is prepared to offer Paris a €90 million buyout clause. Additionally, RB Leipzig is also attempting to negotiate a loan deal with PSG.

Earlier, it was reported that Simons does not want to stay at PSG and has informed the club's management. Now, Simons will focus on his next club.

Earlier reports indicated that if Bayern fails to negotiate the purchase of Simons, they will return to the option of RB Leipzig's Dani Olmo.

In the past season, the 21-year-old Simons played 43 matches for "the Bulls" across all competitions, scoring 10 goals and providing 15 assists.
