Manchester City goalkeeper Stefan Ortega has spoken about his future.

It is noted that the German goalkeeper is still happy at City, but the prospect of becoming a number one at another club also appeals to him.

“It’s not my single decision, my wife as well, expecting a second child. I’m not in my early 20s so I have to choose club wisely”, Ortega is quoted as saying by Fabrizio Romano.

The 31-year-old Ortega is a product of the German club Kassel. At the professional level, the goalkeeper has played for Munich 1860 and Arminia. It was from Arminia that the German of Spanish descent moved to the City in 2022. The goalkeeper joined the Citizens for free.

This season, Ortega has played 13 matches for City, conceding 12 goals and keeping 5 clean sheets.

Manchester City currently sits in third place in the Premier League table. It was previously reported that a key player in Pep Guardiola's team would miss the first Champions League match against Real Madrid.
