Manchester City continues its relentless activity in the transfer market, already setting sights on another major target following the successful acquisition of Marc Guehi. According to TEAMtalk, Pep Guardiola has now turned his attention to Nottingham Forest’s midfielder Elliot Anderson.
While talks for the 23-year-old midfielder were initially expected to intensify in the summer, City’s current aggressive approach could see them move to accelerate the deal. However, City isn’t the only club interested—Manchester United may also enter the race for his signature.
For the record, Anderson joined Nottingham Forest in the summer of 2024 after moving from Newcastle, and his contract runs until 2029. Transfermarkt currently values him at €60 million.
