Manchester United have ramped up their transfer activity and have already begun talks over personal terms with RB Leipzig winger Jan Diomande. According to Caught Offside, the Old Trafford side are seriously considering the 19-year-old as a key piece in their future project.

It is reported that United have already tabled an offer, but the German club made it clear that a January transfer is off the table. Nevertheless, Leipzig have allowed potential buyers to hold preliminary talks with the player in anticipation of the summer window.

Manchester United are ready to offer Diomande a five-year contract with an option to extend for a further year. The player's salary could reach around £3 million per year—roughly £57,000 per week.

It is worth noting that the 19-year-old Ivorian is currently with his national team at the Africa Cup of Nations. Diomande has scored 1 goal in four matches at the tournament so far.
