Manchester City could be relegated to amateur level. The Citizens are on the brink of disaster...
This would be a massive blow to the ambitions of such a renowned club.
Details: According to Topskills Sports UK, Manchester City might lose their professional status for the next season if the EFL makes the corresponding decision.

It is reported that if, at the end of the current season, the Premier League decides to expel Manchester City from the competition due to 115 alleged breaches, the EFL is under no obligation to grant the Citizens a place in the Championship, League One, or League Two. This means that if City lose their court case regarding the 115 charges, they may have to restart in non-league football, effectively becoming an amateur team.
Currently, there is no indication that this scenario will unfold, but City’s management would be wise not to skimp on lawyers, as the situation could change at any moment.
