The post-season analysis of Manchester United's performances in the last campaign is coming to an end and the Red Devils bosses will soon decide on the future of their manager Erik ten Hag.
According to Sky Sports, the specialist has already returned from holiday and the Manchester United management will make a decision on him this week. So far, however, the Dutchman has not been given the final word at Old Trafford.
The latest report confirms the fact that Manchester United boss Sir Jim Ratcliffe was in talks with former Bayern and Chelsea head coach Thomas Tuchel, but as we reported earlier, the German has refused to work in the team and wants to take some time off.
As for the other candidate for the job, namely England head coach Gareth Southgate, he could be in a better position for others through his good relationship with INEOS sporting director Dale Brailsford, as well as Dan Ashworth, who has been linked with a move to a similar position from Newcastle to Manchester United.
