Recently, in Monaco, Manchester United's new shareholder Jim Ratcliffe met with former Bayern Munich coach Thomas Tuchel, as reported by journalist Christian Falk.

According to the source, Tuchel shared his vision and plans for the team should he take over the managerial position, potentially replacing Erik ten Hag.

The specialist also discussed with Ratcliffe how he intends to address the team’s current issues, such as the disagreements involving Jadon Sancho and Mason Mount. Tuchel cited the example of defender Antonio Rüdiger, who thrived under his guidance at Chelsea and developed into a top-tier player.

Tuchel departed from Bayern Munich at the end of the season without securing any trophies in the 2023/24 campaign, and Vincent Kompany has since taken his place at the club.

It has been reported that Manchester United is still deliberating Erik ten Hag’s future. The club's executives, led by INEOS Sports Director Dave Brailsford, are conducting a thorough review of the season following their FA Cup final victory over Manchester City last month.
