Delaying the inevitable? Manchester United still undecided on ten Hag's future
The public and fans will still have to wait for an answer to a question that is almost the most pressing in English football.
According to ESPN, Manchester United are still deciding the future of their manager Erik ten Hag. The Mancunian bosses, led by INEOS sporting director Dave Brailsford, are analysing the outcome of the season after beating Manchester City in the FA Cup final last month.
That is the predetermining factor, but discussions are still ongoing and ten Hag is yet to be informed of the bosses' decision. The latter are in no hurry to make one. It is reported that there is no time frame in making a decision and INEOS does not want to rush with a verdict to their coach.
It should be recalled that last season Manchester United took the lowest place in the Premier League for almost 35 years, and in the autumn failed to reach the spring stage of the European Cup, but the failed campaign was saved thanks to the victory in the FA Cup over Manchester City.
