Man City newcomer Echeverri suffers injury ahead of arrival in England

Argentine super talent Claudio Echeverri is set to arrive at Manchester City soon, but he has encountered a setback just before his flight to England.

Details: Echeverri picked up an injury while with Argentina’s U-20 national team. Due to this issue, the 19-year-old attacking midfielder will miss the U-20 Copa América final against Paraguay.

Medical staff diagnosed Echeverri with a first-degree ligament sprain in his left ankle.

Last winter, Manchester City signed Echeverri from River Plate for €18 million. However, he remained on loan at his boyhood club for one more year.
