Man City head coach wants to prepare the national team for the UEFA EURO or World Cup

Manchester City's head coach Pep Guardiola revealed his desire to coach a national team.

In an interview with ESPN, the Spanish specialist stated that he would like to prepare a national team for either the European Championship or the World Cup.

"The national team. I would like to prepare a team for the World Cup or the European Championship. I don't know who would want to work with me. To work with the national team, you have to be needed by them, just like in a club," Guardiola said.

He added that when he started, he didn't think about winning the Champions League or any championship. According to him, back then, he thought, "there's work - that's good." Now he wants to gain experience in the European Championship, World Cup, Copa America, whatever it may be.

"I don't know when it will happen. In five years, ten, fifteen, but I would like to gain experience as a coach in the World Cup," Pep Guardiola added.
