Mamelodi Sundowns defender Khulumani Ndamane on his goals: I would like to earn a move abroad and also win trophies with Sundowns as well

Khulumani Ndamane wants to see two things happen in his career.

The Mamelodi Sundowns centre back would like to win trophies with the Brazilians and also earn himself a move abroad.

"Collecting trophies, I think that's something that would make me happy as a player," Ndamane said on the Pitchside Podcast.

"For myself, I hope to see myself growing forward. Maybe, if it's possible, to go overseas. I think that would make me happy.”

Ndamane’s maiden Africa Cup of Nations appearance in Morocco has got him ambitious and the player has identified areas he needs improving in.

"I learned a lot, which I learned because we played against players who play in Europe,” the former TS Galaxy defender added.

"So, I think it raised me a lot. Even the way you are supposed to play. I saw alot. It’s a lot of things, like the intensity of the games.”

Ndamane is also hoping to make the Bafana squad to USA, Mexico and Canada for the World Cup in June as he has been a regular in the national set up recently.

This evening the left-footed central defender will be hoping to help Sundowns beat Chippa United in the Betway Premiership match at Loftus Versveld.

The game starts at 7.30pm.
