Major losses in PSG squad! Khvicha Kvaratskhelia and Fabián Ruiz to miss match against Strasbourg
Paris Saint-Germain are facing squad problems ahead of the next round of the French championship.
Details: According to the club's official medical report, two key midfielders—Spanish international Fabián Ruiz and Georgian winger Khvicha Kvaratskhelia—will not be able to help the team in the upcoming clash against Strasbourg. Both players have officially been ruled out due to injury and have not been included in the matchday squad.
Fabián Ruiz is still recovering from a serious knee contusion. The medical staff has decided not to rush the Spaniard's return to the pitch to avoid complications, so he remains under close medical supervision.
Khvicha Kvaratskhelia is also undergoing treatment; while the specifics of his injury have not been disclosed, it has been confirmed that the Georgian international continues to receive all necessary medical care.
Young talent Quentin Ndjantou has also joined the injury list as he continues his rehabilitation program to rejoin full training after his own setback. As a result, Luis Enrique will be unable to count on all three players for the upcoming Ligue 1 encounter.
It is worth noting that the Ligue 1 Matchday 20 fixture between Strasbourg and PSG will take place tomorrow, February 1, at 20:45 Central European Time.
Reminder: PSG and Luis Enrique have begun talks over a new contract.
