Details: According to Topskills Sports UK, there is a growing movement among fans and football officials to propose stripping Mexico and the USA of the 2026 World Cup hosting rights due to mounting security concerns.

It is reported that representatives from many of the teams set to participate in the upcoming World Cup are deeply worried about the safety of holding matches in the USA and Mexico, citing the harsh policies of the ICE immigration service in the States and the ongoing conflict between national authorities and drug cartels in Mexico.
Additionally, numerous animal rights activists are urging FIFA to cancel World Cup matches in Morocco in order to stop the mass killing of stray dogs, a problem that has escalated during preparations for the tournament.
As a result, Canada may emerge as the sole host country of the 2026 World Cup.
