Lucas Ribeiro reportedly on the verge of signing for Tunisian giants Esperance
Lucas Ribeiro could sign Mamelodi Sundowns rivals in Tunisia.
The Brazilian attacker is a free agent after his Spanish Segunda side, Cultural Leonesa, was relegated to the lower ranks last season.
Ribeiro left Sundowns last season after he terminated his contract with the club in a move which saw the Caf Champions League Champions report him to Fifa.
That matter has not been heard as yet as the player also played in Spain last season despite the complaint hovering above his head.
But now according to Tunisian publication Nessma Sport, Ribeiro will be unveiled by Esperance tomorrow in what is reported to be a three-yea contract with the team.
The left-footed player has been linked with various club lately as he was also reported tobe on his way to Libyan giants Al-Ittihad and a possible return to Sundowns was mooted.
It does seem that the move to Tunisia is the most likely one.
