Lucas Paquetá comments on his apology for the red card and says sorry again

Lucas Paquetá was dismissed in his most recent Premier League outing after picking up two yellow cards in the span of two minutes. After the match, he apologised to the fans and acknowledged his mistake.

Details: Paquetá admitted that it has been difficult to live with everything that has happened. Still, he refused to make excuses and asked the club’s supporters for forgiveness.

Quote: "I understand that I now have to look like the villain. It’s hard for me to live with everything that has happened in my life and in my mind. I will keep trying to make sure it doesn’t affect me even more. This does not justify my red card, which is why I want to apologise to the fans and to my teammates," Paquetá said.

West Ham lost 0–2 to Liverpool and now sit 17th in the Premier League table, with 11 points from 13 matches.

Reminder: The future of Arne Slot at Liverpool is becoming increasingly uncertain, so it is no surprise that rumours of the Dutch manager’s impending dismissal are growing louder.
