Lucas Hernandez responds to human trafficking allegations
The PSG defender stated that he and his wife were simply helping people.
Details: Lucas Hernandez released an official statement after being accused of human trafficking following a complaint from a Colombian family.
In his statement, the defender said:
"We opened our home and our lives to people who introduced themselves as friends, who asked for our kindness, and to whom we felt genuine sympathy.
These people shared our lives with respect and dignity. We helped them, supported them, and believed them when they assured us that their situation was being resolved.
This trust has been betrayed."
Hernandez emphasized that he and his family acted with good intentions, and noted that the accusations came as a shock to them, as they have always tried to support people in need of help.
