"Looks like it's a hamstring injury" - Pep Guardiola on Bobb's injury in the match against Brentford
In the Carabao Cup quarter-final, Manchester City hosted Brentford, and an early blow struck Guardiola's side right at the start of the game.
Details: At the post-match press conference, Manchester City head coach Pep Guardiola commented on Oscar Bobb's injury, which forced the youngster off the pitch as early as the 19th minute.
According to Guardiola, Bobb felt muscular discomfort within the opening minutes and had to be replaced in the 19th minute. Phil Foden came on to take his place.
"After 10–15 minutes, Oscar complained of a muscle issue. Looks like it's a hamstring injury. Hopefully, it's nothing serious," noted the Spanish boss of the Citizens.
The match itself went smoothly for City, ending in a comfortable 2-0 victory. They now await their opponent in the semi-finals.
It's worth noting that this season, the young Norwegian has featured in fifteen matches for the Citizens across all competitions, providing one assist.
Reminder: Manchester City midfielder Rayan Cherki scored a phenomenal goal and celebrated in Erling Haaland's signature style.
