Liverpool's young star could switch to French citizenship
An intriguing detail has come to light about one of Liverpool's brightest prospects, Rio Ngumoha.
Details: According to PSG Reporter, the young talent is fully eligible to represent the French national team on the international stage. This opportunity comes thanks to his mother's heritage, as she hails from Guadeloupe.
Since Guadeloupe is an overseas department of France, its citizens hold French nationality, which automatically gives Rio the right to be called up for "Les Bleus."
This means Rio is free to choose which national team to represent: England or France.
It's worth noting that this season, the youngster has made 27 appearances for the Merseyside club, scoring three goals.
Reminder: Liverpool winger Mohamed Salah has made a decision about his future.
