Liverpool's Bold Move Sparks Uncertainty Around Salah's Future
Mohamed Salah's future with Liverpool is uncertain as his contract is set to end this season. Even though he wants to stay at Anfield, Salah is unhappy because the club hasn't started talks about renewing his contract, even though it's almost December.
British reporter Louis Steele shared on his show "MBC Masr" that Liverpool's CEO, Michael Edwards, is hesitant to extend the contracts of players older than 30, which puts Salah's future in doubt. Steele mentioned that the only outside interest in Salah is from Saudi Arabia, but the player is still dedicated to staying with Liverpool.
Meanwhile, Liverpool have reportedly identified Eintracht Frankfurt player Omar Marmoush as a potential addition to their attacking lineup, in the event that Salah leaves. The Egyptian striker has caught the attention of the club's management, indicating a proactive approach to preparing for a possible transfer.
With ten goals, Salah is currently second in the Premier League scoring statistics, behind Erling Haaland of Manchester City, but his future at Liverpool is still up in the air.
