Liverpool to sell young talent to RB Salzburg
19-year-old Liverpool midfielder Bobby Clark will continue his career in the top division of Austria. The young Englishman is set to join the most successful Austrian club in recent times, Red Bull Salzburg.
According to insider Fabrizio Romano, the two sides have already agreed on the player's transfer. The transfer fee is reported to be £10 million. Additionally, Liverpool will receive 17.5% of the player's next resale.
It's worth noting that Clark did not join the "Reds" on their pre-season tour in the United States due to a back injury, but he has already resumed training at the club's base.
Clark is a product of Newcastle's academy and joined Liverpool in 2021. Last season, the midfielder made five appearances in the Premier League, only one of which was as a starter.
It was previously reported that Liverpool is set to buy one of the best players of Euro 2024 and loan him to a Premier League club.
