Liverpool makes final decision on Arne Slot
Despite turbulent results and mounting media pressure, Liverpool's management has no intention of taking drastic action.
Details: Renowned insider David Ornstein dispelled rumors of a possible managerial dismissal in the latest episode of The Athletic podcast, confirming that the Merseysiders have complete faith in their head coach.

The club is confident that the Dutchman is the right man to turn things around and guide the team back to winning ways. The coach’s contract runs until 2027, and the management is not simply honoring its terms—they genuinely want Slot to continue leading the project for the long term.
The club believes his profile perfectly fits the system’s demands, and that there is simply no one on the current market better suited to Liverpool. The board is fully satisfied with the Dutchman’s methods, despite the current challenges.
"I expect this story to continue and the club to reach the summer in whatever state... I don’t think dismissing the head coach is on Liverpool’s agenda at all," Ornstein emphasized.
It’s worth noting that yesterday, under Arne Slot’s leadership, Liverpool suffered a 0-1 defeat to Turkish side Galatasaray in the first leg of the Champions League round of 16, sparking rumors about the Dutchman’s possible departure.
Reminder: Former Liverpool head coach Jürgen Klopp is one of the candidates to become Germany’s national team manager, as Nagelsmann plans to step down.
