Jürgen Klopp is one of the candidates for the position of Germany head coach as Nagelsmann plans to step down
The future of Julian Nagelsmann with the national team is now in doubt.
Details: According to Bild, the German Football Association (DFB) has already started working on a Plan B in case the current manager leaves after the next World Cup. The number one name on their list of successors is the legendary Jürgen Klopp.
Jürgen Klopp, who is currently enjoying a break from club football, has long been a dream appointment for the German Football Association.
It’s worth noting that throughout his career, Jürgen has only managed clubs — namely German sides Mainz and Borussia Dortmund, as well as English giants Liverpool.
Reminder: Liverpool head coach Arne Slot met with Borussia Dortmund defender Nico Schlotterbeck to try to convince him to join Liverpool.
