Liverpool loses one of its coaches... Slot loses his assistant.
Now a different specialist will take charge of set pieces.
Details: Today it was announced that Aaron Briggs, who was part of Arne Slot's coaching staff and responsible for set pieces, has officially left Liverpool after terminating his contract.
It is reported that the likely reason for Briggs' dismissal was the Reds' struggles defending set pieces, conceding 12 goals from such situations this season.
The responsibility for set-piece tactics will now be shared among the remaining coaching staff.
Briggs joined Arne Slot's coaching team in July 2024. Prior to that, Aaron worked as an assistant coach at Monaco, Wolfsburg, and Manchester City.
Reminder: Will face trial! Former Liverpool player Andy Carroll could face up to 5 years for violating a restraining order
