Liverpool legend does not consider Jurgen Klopp to blame for the team's failures

In yesterday's match in the 35th round of the English Premier League, Liverpool once again dropped points. This marked the fourth time in the last five matches that the Merseysiders failed to secure a victory.

These modest results have likely dashed Jürgen Klopp's hopes of contending for the league title. The team has also been eliminated from the FA Cup and the Europa League. With a high degree of probability, Klopp may have to settle for only the EFL Cup trophy in his final season at Liverpool.

However, despite this, Liverpool legend Peter Crouch does not consider Jürgen Klopp solely responsible for everything. When asked by TNT Sports, he replied:

"No. You have to remember where the club was.

They were so close under Brendan Rodgers; it was a complete rebuild. He had players in the club who didn't match Liverpool's standards.

He had to clarify this. What he did was compete with Manchester City with a much smaller budget compared to what the citizens spent.

Think about the players he brought in.No one thought about Salah and Mane. Alisson was an excellent purchase.

He brought in players for £20 or £30 million, and people thought maybe they overpaid. But they turned into £100 million players. He improved them.

He has done so much for the football club. It's quite emotional. When he leaves, there won't be a dry eye in Liverpool".

Under Jürgen Klopp's leadership, Liverpool has only three matches left to play, with the final one on May 19th at Anfield. Fans of the Merseysiders can expect an incredible performance as a tribute to the German coach.
