Liverpool interested in Serie A star rejected by Barcelona

Juventus winger Federico Chiesa is likely to change clubs soon. Earlier reports indicated Barcelona's interest, but due to financial constraints, they had to pull out of the deal.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Chiesa may now continue his career in the English Premier League, with Liverpool being a potential destination.

At the moment, Liverpool is merely assessing the conditions of the possible transfer. Previously, Juventus was willing to release Chiesa for €13 million plus bonuses.

Chiesa himself is very eager to pursue his career in England.

Juventus' new head coach has openly stated in a press conference that Chiesa is not part of his plans, despite him previously being one of the team's key players.

It's worth noting that Liverpool has not officially signed any players this summer. However, it was recently reported that the club has agreed on the transfer of Valencia goalkeeper Giorgi Mamardashvili, although he will remain on loan at the Spanish club for a year.
