Liverpool have made an offer for a player from a top Serie A club

Liverpool has recently been very closely linked with a move for Juventus winger Federico Chiesa, who has had difficulties extending his contract with the Italian club.

Previously only interest had been reported, but journalist Fabio Santini spoke to TV Play and revealed some very interesting details of the clubs' relationship in the matter:

"What are Juventus doing? They may sell Chiesa, but not Dušan Vlahović as previously reported. There are offers for Chiesa from big clubs in the Premier League, including Liverpool. By selling Federico, they will make 40-45 million euros. With that amount, Juventus can pick up Retegui, who should not become Vlahovic's understudy, but as his partner. And here Juventus will have to, as they say in Milan, keep the accounts of the servant".

As a reminder, Chiesa's contract with Juventus runs until the summer of 2025, and the Turin club's sporting director Cristiano Giuntoli is actively working to extend it.
