Liverpool have managed to reach an agreement over the transfer of young French defender Jérémie Jacquet, but the club may finalise the move at a later date.
Details: As reported by Vinnie O’Connor of Sky Sports News, Liverpool may decide not to complete the transfer before the current deadline and instead postpone the deal until the summer of 2026.
Quote: “Ultimately, this deal will be completed when the summer transfer window opens. Earlier this afternoon, he underwent a medical ahead of the finalisation of the agreement,” the insider stated.
Meanwhile, Real Madrid midfielder Eduardo Camavinga has once again found himself at the centre of transfer speculation. Liverpool are seriously considering a move for the 23-year-old French international.
Reminder: Liverpool secured a home victory over Newcastle in Matchday 24 of the English Premier League. That match proved to be a landmark moment for the Reds’ summer signing Hugo Ekitike.
