Legendary moment! Mo Salah shares a photo with Steven Gerrard
Liverpool star Mohamed Salah delighted fans with a joint photograph alongside the Reds' legend and longtime captain Steven Gerrard. The Egyptian shared the snapshot in his Instagram story.
In the photo, Salah and Gerrard are seen posing arm in arm in a parking lot. Judging by their beaming smiles, they were thrilled to see each other.
It's worth remembering that Steven Gerrard is a Liverpool academy graduate and spent almost his entire playing career at this club. He made his debut for Liverpool in November 1998 and played until 2015. During this time, he appeared in over 500 matches for the club and scored 120 goals.
Gerrard's crowning achievement was winning the Champions League trophy in 2005. He also clinched the FA Cups, League Cups, UEFA Super Cups, and the UEFA Cup in 2001 with the team. The only title that eluded him was the English Premier League.
However, Mohamed Salah managed to bring the championship title to Anfield Road — in 2020, Liverpool became Premier League champions for the first time since 1990. And in the current season, the Merseysiders have every chance to repeat their feat and win the English championship once more.
