Legend returns. Giorgio Chiellini has joined the Juventus structure

Giorgio Chiellini, one of Juventus' most legendary players, left the team in 2022 to join Los Angeles FC. A year and a half later, after retiring from playing, he became a development coach at the American club. However, today it has been announced that he is returning to Juventus, where he will take up the position of Head of Institutional Football Relations.

Details: According to reports from Nicolo Schira back in December 2023, when Chiellini announced his retirement, he dreamed of returning to Juventus and joining the club’s management. At that time, no position was available, so he remained with LAFC, awaiting the opportunity to return to Turin.
Now, Juventus has confirmed that the team legend is coming back. Starting tomorrow, September 16, Chiellini will assume the role of Head of Institutional Relations, reporting directly to CEO Maurizio Scanavino and representing the club in his new managerial capacity. His academic background, combined with his experience as a player, captain, and Juventus legend, will be invaluable in his new position.
Quote: Juventus warmly welcomed Chiellini back with a short but heartfelt message:
"Welcome home, Giorgio!"
Reminder: Chiellini joined Juventus in 2005 and played for the club for 17 years. He made 561 appearances and scored 36 goals, helping the team return to Serie A, where they won nine league titles, five Coppa Italia trophies, and five Supercoppa Italiana titles. He also reached the Champions League final twice and became European Champion with Italy in 2020.
