LeBron James responded to the controversial decision by the referees in the Fury - Ngannou fight
The Los Angeles Lakers' superstar, LeBron James, has commented on the recent boxing match between the reigning world champion, Tyson Fury, and former UFC champion Francis Ngannou.
"This is precisely why I don't watch boxing," wrote LeBron James on the social media platform X (formerly Twitter).
The fight's outcome was determined by the judges, who awarded Fury a split decision victory. This marked Ngannou's debut in the world of boxing, and many found the result contentious, as Ngannou sent Fury to the canvas with a knockdown.
LeBron James is an NBA legend, currently in his 21st season in his career. During this time, he has clinched the championship title four times and reached the finals six additional times with his teams.
It is anticipated that next year, LeBron will play for a team that signs his eldest son, “Bronny”. In December, James will celebrate his 39th birthday.
