What is the format of the NBA 2023-24?

The regular part of the championship will be held in the usual format.

• Each of the 30 teams will play 82 games in the regular season.
• Six teams from each conference will advance to the playoffs.
• The teams that finish in 7th through 10th place will play for ащгк more playoff spots via play-in.
• The top 8 teams from each conference will determine the best team in the playoff system to face a representative from the other conference in the NBA Finals. The winner is determined in a series of up to four wins.
• The main feature of this season will be the NBA In-Season Tournament.

What is the NBA In-season Tournament?

This season will feature the first ever NBA Intra-Season Tournament. It will be held from November 3 to December 9.

Teams from each conference will be divided into three groups. Group stage games will be played from November 3 through November 28 on Tuesdays and Fridays. The winners of each group, as well as the best team to finish second in their conference, will advance to the playoffs of the tournament.

The playoffs, which will consist of one match, begin with the 1/4 finals and will take place from December 4-9: home court advantage will be given to the teams that receive the first or second seeding number at the end of the group stage. The semifinals and finals will be played in Las Vegas.
