‘Leave Britain as a Star’ – Saudi sports pundit calls on Mohamed Salah to explore new opportunities
Famous Saudi sports reporter Waleed Al Farraj has given some strong advice to Liverpool player Mohamed Salah after the Egyptian forward said that no talks have started about renewing his contract, which ends this summer. Salah said in an interview with NBC Sports that as December starts, he hasn't gotten any offers from Liverpool, suggesting that he might leave the team.
Responding to Salah's comments, Al Farraj tweeted: "I’m surprised by the disappointment Salah feels regarding Liverpool’s lack of interest in renewing his contract. There are no emotions here, only temporary mutual interests. You had a golden opportunity last season that you let slip due to emotional decisions. My advice to our star: leave Britain while you're still a big star."
Salah didn't talk about rumors of possibly moving to Saudi Arabia, saying, "I don’t want to talk about that. I’m concentrating on the team right now," after helping Liverpool win 3-2 against Southampton with two important goals.
The Egyptian star is still doing great this season, scoring 12 goals and making 10 assists in 18 games in all competitions, helping Liverpool in the Premier League, Champions League, and EFL Cup.
