Lamine Camara uncertain for PSG clash in Champions League
Sébastien Pocognoli has provided an update on the Senegalese international.
AS Monaco remain concerned about Lamine Camara's fitness. On the eve of Paris Saint-Germain's visit for the first leg of the Champions League play-offs on Tuesday 17 February at 8pm GMT, the Monegasque club's coach spoke about Lamine Camara.
After suffering an ankle injury and being substituted during Monaco's French Ligue 1 match against FC Nantes, the African champion does not seem to have recovered from his injury. This leaves doubt as to his availability for the match against PSG at the Stade Louis-II. In his pre-match press conference, Sébastien Pocognoli said that Camara is uncertain.
"Maghnes (Akliouche) is uncertain, he was injured in the pelvis and underwent further tests yesterday. He still needs to be tested today and tomorrow morning because we have another training session. The same goes for Lamine (Camara), who took a blow to the ankle, and Ansu (Fati), who took a blow to the quadriceps. He was still in pain yesterday," said the Belgian coach.
