Paris Saint-Germain fought back from a two-goal deficit to claim a dramatic 3–2 win over AS Monaco in their UEFA Champions League playoff first leg, with Achraf Hakimi netting the equalizing goal on Tuesday night.
Monaco took the lead early through a double from Folarin Balogun, but PSG responded quickly. Substitute Déziré Dué sparked the comeback, scoring and creating the chance for Hakimi to equalize before halftime.
The turning point came when Aleksandr Golovin was sent off early in the second half, leaving Monaco with ten men. PSG capitalized on the advantage, with Dué scoring again to complete the turnaround.
