Kaizer Chiefs Football Manager Bobby Motaung: We are happy with the our squad but it will not stop of us from signing an available top player
Bobby Motaung expressed happiness at the current Kaizer Chiefs squad but mentioned that they will not let a good player pass if there is a chance to sign one.
Amakhosi have been less active in the current transfer window and instead signed a player on from for the DDC team.
They signed Xhosa Manyana from National First Division side Cape Town City, only on loan until the end of the season.
This is unlike their rivals in Orlando Pirates and Mamelodi Sundowns.
“Of course, we can never say no should a special player come along. When that happens, we will obviously have a look. But we are happy with the depth of our squad,” Football Manager Bobby Motaung told iDiski Times.
“Those players are now coming back. Also, we made a good number of signings at the start of the season, and some of those players are yet to play.
“You must realise that joining Chiefs is not an easy thing, and some players will take a long time to settle so they just need to adapt and gel into the squad, and we will be good.
“So we don’t want to fiddle with the squad.”
